Course content
1. Introduction into the history of psychology. 2. Development of psychology in context of European philosophical conceptions. 3. Associationism. 4. Gestaltism. 5. Psychoanalysis and Individual psychology. 6. Analytic psychology. 7. Russian reflexology and psychology. 8. Behaviorism and Neobehaviorism. 9. Humanistic psychology. 10. Transpersonal psychology. 11. Cognitive psychology. 12. Czech psychology. 13. Current psychology.

  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 15 hours per semester

Knowledge
Basic orientation in European history.
learning outcomes
Student will comprehend the history of development of psychological science based on self-study of relevant literature and he/she will write a research paper where he/she must show personal contribution. Student will use the knowledge for studying other psychological disciplines.
