Course content
1. learning as the basic category of pedagogical psychology 2. psychology of education 3. Problem-based learning. Developing creativity and metacognition 4. Psychological aspects of pupil assessment. 5. Psychological aspects of working with an error. 6. School success, creating the image of a successful student in the teacher-student interaction. 7. Motivation of students in the learning process 8. Self-learning. Learning styles. 9. Theory of Learning 10.Learning entities and teaching from the perspective of positive psychology. 11. 12. Practical application in model situations. 13. Evaluation

  • Contact hours - 39 hours per semester

Knowledge
Students are familiar with the basis of Educational Psychology at the theoretical-application level (types of learning, learning laws, factors affecting the effectiveness of learning, etc.).
learning outcomes
Students are able to: - apply and constructively rate laws of the cognitive process development (perception, thinking, language, memory, attention), and its effect on learning. - assess differences in the cognitive process development of particular pupils, and they are able to adjust the learning process according to individual pupil needs. - apply and constructively rate particular learning theories (J. Piaget, L. S. Vygotsky, J. Galperin, J. Bruner, D. P. Ausubel, F.J. Dochyh, D. A. Kolba, etc.); students distinguish essential characteristics; professionally interpret their basic theses; decide about possible applications in particular types of learning, - take a professional stand on possibilities of effective use of learning theories in particular subjects.
