Course content
1. Introduction to the study of psychology. 2. Basic psychological methods. 3. Sensory processes and perception. 4. Images, memory. Fantasy and creativity. 5. Thinking, phases of problem solving, thinking and speech. 6. Memory, attention. 7. Emotions and will. 8. The structure of personality. 9. Motivation, needs, interests. 10. Character, posture. Self-regulating characteristics. 11. Achievement characteristics, abilities, inteligence. 12. Temperament, basic temperament typologies. 13. Personality formation in demanding life situation (frustration, deprivation, stress, conflict).

  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 32 hours per semester

Knowledge
Basic orientation in psychological terminology, especially in general psychology.
learning outcomes
Student: - will understand main problems of general psychology and psychology of personality. - will describe and explain basic cognitive processes and individual structural characteristics of the personality - will be able to put the acquired knowledge into own practice.
