Course content
1. Social perception, mistakes in social perception. 2. Structure of social communication. 3. Elements of verbal communication. 4. Elements of non-verbal communication. 5. Negotiation strategy with people; rules for criticism. 6. Transactional analysis; Characteristics of successful and unsuccessful communication. 7. Art of communication. Rules of dialogue. 8. Art to argue, active listening. 9. Paralanguage. 10. Mistakes in social communication. 11. Mass communication, advertisement. 12. Conflict and its solving. 13. Basis of assertiveness.

Basic knowledge of terminology of Social Psychology and Psychology of Personality.
learning outcomes
Students are able to: - illustrate mistakes in social perception, - distinguish successful from non-successful communication, - assess own mistakes in social perception, - apply assertive techniques in problem solving situations, - explain influence of mass communication and advertisement on human behavior, - use the rules for criticism and transactional analysis.
