Course content
1. Methods of Social Psychology and Ways of their Usage. 2. Personal Socialization and its Particular Elements. Social Learning. 3. Social Perception; Factors that affect SP. Mistakes in Social Perception. 4. Social Communication. Structure of Social Communication. Disorder of Social Communication. 5. Negotiation Strategy with People; Rules for Criticism. 6. Assertive Communication. Transactional Analysis. 7. Social groups; Classification; Place of a Individual in a Small Group. 8. Interpersonal Relationships in Social Groups. Conflicts and its Solving. The Basis of Management (leading of a working group). 9. Family as a Small Social Group. 10. Social norms; Social Roles; Social Status. 11. Attitudes and Values. 12. Mass Communication, Advertisement. 13. Social Psychological Aspects of Human Aggression Occurrence. Analysis of the Terms: Bullying, Mobbing, and Bossing.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Graduate study programme term essay (40-50) - 28 hours per semester

- classify social psychology methods,
- clarify the essence of the socialization process of personality and the formation of attitudes, values and norms,
- describe the process of social communication,
- enumerate the principles of the art of dealing with people and to characterize assertive communication,

- characterize individual types of social groups,
- justify the causes of aggressive behavior.
