Course content
The content of the course is to analyze the position of the company in the information society, the role of the current information system for the effective functioning of the company. Principles acquisition to elaboration of information strategy of the company, acquisition of principles of modeling and optimization of business processes, criterias and steps in selecting a suitable IS supplier (including outsourcing). Furthermore, acquiring the process of successful implementation of IS, conditions for further IS innovation, including ensuring appropriate system integration and evaluation of economic benefits. 1. Introduction to enterprise information systems 2. Enterprise IS from the perspective of consultant / ERP systems 3. Innovative tendencies in enterprise IS (external lecture) / MRP and MRP II method 4. Areas referred to as ERP II and their relations / TOC method 5. Project of enterprise IS implementation, main steps, organization, contracts, benefits and effects 6. Process and data view of enterprise IS 7. Examples of business practice (KPV) / enterprise IS and Industry 4.0 8. Trends of enterprise IS (KPV) / operation of enterprise IS 9. Innovation of enterprise IS 10. Final workshop
