1. Theme, subject matter and motive. 2. Characters, individualization, standardization. 3. Time and place. 4. Plot and discourse. 5. Composition, composition principles, parallel, opposition. 6. Narrator, author's and character's zone. 7. Stylistic specialities of artistic works. 8. Language specialities of artistic works. 9. Mythological elements in artistic texts, depictions of archetypical characters. 10. Genres. 11. Specific features of poetry. 12. Specific features of drama. Practical knowledge of literary theory is to be practically applied in textual analysis of particular texts.
