Course content
1. Methodology of FL as a science. 2. The factual and current issues of MFL. 3. The principal aspects of foreign language teaching-learning. Requirements for foreign language teachers. 4. and 5. Basics of the methodology of teaching language means. Language and speaking in language classes. 6. and 7. Basics of methodology of teaching speaking skills reading, writing, speaking, listening, mediation. 8. Communication and social-cultural method in teaching foreign languages. Intercultural communication competence. 9. An overview of textbooks for teaching Russian language. Work with the methodical manual. 10. Typology of pupils. Motivation. Evaluation. Task-Based Instruction, Content-Based Language Instruction, Student-Centered Approaches. 11. The planning, course and evaluation of the teaching unit. 12. Specifics of interest education.
