Course content
The specific content of the subject is partly situationally variable. The realism and topicality of the communication areas is key. Practical language. Personal development plan. Expression of agreement and disagreement, offer, suggestion, advice. 2. Expression of own opinion. Evaluation of another's opinion. Mediation to smooth the communication situation. Discussion - internet discussions. Ethics of communication. 3. Hobbies. Skills. Webquest: the phenomenon of wellbeing. 4. Workshop. Giving feedback, peer assessment - phrases. 5. Life patterns - storrytelling. 6. Regimen of the day. 7. Perception of time in personal and cultural terms. Critical incidents exercises. 8. Time management: study, work, personal life. 9. CV writing - content and formalities. 10. Profession. 11. Young generation and choice of profession. Generation x, y, z, and work habits. Job interview - simulation game. 12. Relationship of different nations to work. 13. Repetition. Evaluation of activities. Formative assessment. Individual assessment of learning outcomes. ICC: 1. Introduction to the study of history. History versus history. History and ideology. The phenomenon of egohistory, oral history, collective memory, communicative memory and intersecting memories. 2. Periodization of Russian history, historical cycles, turning points. The beginning of Russian history in medieval monuments and legends. 3. East Slavic koine. Kievan Rus. Feudal principalities. Mongol-Tatar yoke. 4. Muscovite Russia. Smuta. 5. Petrovskaya Rus. 18th century. 6. 19th century (key events and milestones, character of Russian society). 7. 1st half of 20th century (key events and milestones, character of Russian society). 8. 2nd half of 20th century (key events and milestones, character of Russian society). 9. Development of the RF in the 21st century. 10. Russia outside Russia. The history of the peoples of Russia. 11. Key milestones in the development of Czech-Russian relations. 12. The pantheon of Russian and Czech historical heroes - the Harvard staging method. 12. Dramapedagogy: reconstruction of the meeting of historical figures. Alternative history and folkhistory. 13. Presentation of students' independent work: reportage from a historically significant place, interviews with witnesses.
