The human skeleton The anatomical terminology General osteology, bone plasticity, preservation and taphonomy The vertebral column The thorax The upper limb The lower limb The head The dentition The basic of sex, age and stature estimation from the skeleton

learning outcomes
Students will be able: (1) To describe the development and structure of bone tissue and bones and to infer their consequences to the field excavations. (2) To identify the human bones and their parts in the field. (3) To describe the basic components of human bones both in the Czech and Latin terminology. (4) To cooperate with biological anthropologists during the excavations of human remains.
