Course content
1. Introduction into the discourse of visual anthropology with focus on multimedial communication 2. Introduction of the possibilites of photography, audiovisial recording and multimedial means in the context of an anthropological research. 3. Training of audiovisual recording in the field (camera-work) and its elaboration (editing, dramaturgy) with focus to the needs anthropological research and education. 4. Presentation and training of application of the selected methodology of humanities in the analysis of audiovisual artifacts and pictures that originated in various cultural or social contexts.

charakterizovat konceptuální a metodologická východiska vizuální antropologie a digitální etnografie
vysvětlit a obhájit tezi, že audiovizuální záznam nepředstavuje objektivní otisk sociální reality, ale způsob její interpretace
Skills
samostatně použít audiovizuální technologie a postupy filmové dokumentaristiky (scénář, střih, práce s kamerou) v kontextu antropologického výzkumu, resp. při prezentaci antropologicky relevantních témat
interpretovat audiovizuální, filmové a multimediální artefakty v perspektivě antropologického konceptuálního a metodologického aparátu
antropologicky relevantním způsobem interpretovat a prezentovat ?sociální realitu? s použitím audiovizuální technologie
samostatně vytvořit audiovizuální či multimediální produkt
