Course content
|
Course content: 1. Asia from the west to the east: Introduction into the idea of Asian cultures seen as one entirety. Comparation of western, eastern, southern a northern cultures. 2. Aborigins of Australia and Oceania: Classical writings from mid-20th century (Mead, Freeman) and the current ones. Distinguishing Australians from Aussies and searching for the appearance of the native people of Oceania. 3. What it is like to be a black man: Ethnical composition of Africa, current state of cultures in classical works (Evans-Prittchard). Comparison of the situations: to be a black man in Africe, in other continents and societies.

| porovnat a srovnat dané kulturní rysy napříč kulturními oblastmi v otázkách souvisejících s příbuzenstvím a rodinným uspořádáním, příbuzenskou terminologií, jazykovými rysy, folklorem a folklorními útvary, uspořádáním společnosti a místa jedince v něm, ale také konflikty, které v historické perspektivě nesou změny identity jedinců a kultur jako celku |
