Space, place and society Conceptualization a typology of urban space Historical approaches to the city Classical theories of the city (Post)modern theories of the city Socialistic, post-socialistic a capitalist city Differentiation of the urban space, suburbanization and gentrification Forms a trend of the spatial segregation Social control and deviance in the city Public space Non-places and urban nomads Ethnicity, migration, globalization and the city Ethnography of the city - methodological issues
