Course content
The focus of the course is to introduce the key concepts of administrative law, i.e. the concept and system of public administration and administrative law, the sources and relations of administrative law, the legal regulation of the organization of public administration, forms of administrative activities and external (especially judicial) control of public administration. Emphasis will be placed on the context of public administration in the field of mapping, cadaster, civil engineering issues and land surveying.

Student proves the ability of basic orientation within the field of the administrative law and public administration.

To understand the problems of administrative law in the Czech Republic from the point of view both legal regulation and practice.

Knowledge
- The student will gain knowledge of the nature and structure of administrative law. - The student will become aware of the differences between subjects and authorities of public administration, as well as distinguish between different types of administrative activities. - The student will gain an understanding of the external control mechanisms of public administration.

- Can analyze the case; - Is able to choose the appropriate procedural procedure and revise the fulfillment of conditions of the proceeding; - Recognizes contentious issues of the chosen case from the substantive law point of view; - Applies substantive law to a particular case; - He/she is able to suggest possible solutions; - Evaluates all its submissions and decisions following the case-law; - Publicly presents the conclusions risen; - Can make a decision on the matter and justify it in terms of factual and legal.
