Course content
1. Initialization 2. Abstract Expressionism (USA) and Informel in France and in Bohemia 3. Pop-art in USA and in Europe, new Realism 4. Conceptualism, Minimalism, land-art, op-art: USA, Europe 5. Happening, performance art, body art, begginings of feministic art 6. Instalation, video art 7. Female art in Bohemia 60th-80th of the 20th century: Medková, Kmentová, Šimotová, Janoušková 8. Geometrical abstraction in Bohemia (Sýkora, Grygar, Kolíbal), cartoon (Nepraš, Sopko) 9. Postmodern art (The Pictures Generation, appropriation) 10. Postmodern architecture, high tech and deconstruction 11. Neoexpressionism (Neue Wilde, Transavanguardia, Tvrdohlaví), Bad Painting 12. The 90th of the 20th century in Bohemia 13. Contemporary art

student for the period of the 19th and early 20th centuries: to list the main streams and directions of art, to describe the circumstances of their origin and centers of development, to list the main representatives, to mention the schools or centers of influence, describe individual streams and directions: impressionism, post-expressionism, fauvism, expressionism (Czech and German), cubism, abstraction, futurism, dadaism, surrealism, Russian constructivism, functionalism, forms of figuration architecture, enumerate and describe elements characteristic of individual directions and styles, describe the process of creation of a work of art in terms of technology (craft or art)

work of art by time of origin and style, designate the author, recognize and time-classify elements characteristic of individual directions and stylistic periods, associate the main representatives with artistic movements and currents, separate currents and directions in time; in painting, sculpture and architecture on specific works to assess the implementation of these directions in general, to take into account the circumstances of their origin
