Course content
1. Concept of criminal law and its place in a legal order of Czech Republic; related legal branches and legal theories; basic principles of criminal law 2. Legal sources of criminal law; operation scope and interpretation of criminal laws; a structure of criminal laws 3. Criminal act - a concept and characteristics; cathegorisation of criminal acts; a position of a criminal act within other anti-social and unlawful acts 4. Factum of a criminal act - its concept, characteristics and importance and its cathegorisation 5. Object of a criminal act and person/thing of attack 6. Objective respect of a criminal act 7. Subject of a criminal act (offender); age, sanity; general, concrete and special subject; a mediate offender 8. Subjective respect of a criminal act; fault; facultative signs of subjective respect of a criminal act; mistake of an offender 9. Circumstances excluding unlawfulness (f. ex. necessary defence, extremely need) 10. Development stages of a criminal act (preparation, attempt) 11. Criminal cooperation; complice; accessory 12.Plurality of criminal acts; concurrence, recidivism, plurality sui generis 13. Expiration of criminal liability

To demonstrate the basic principles of criminal law in the material, general part of defining TPH in the system of law, the basic principles of TPH, the competence of TPH, to prove the knowledge of the basic categories of TPH - crime, signs, categorization of crimes and their characterization, to characterize the fact Characters, types of SPTČ and their interrelations, know the conditions of criminal responsibility and their specifics.
