Course content
Sprint 100 m, long jump, shot put, throw of the ball (350 g), 3000 m (men) and 1500 m (women) run. Diagnostics and development of technique of chosen athletic disciplines. Lectures: basics of theory of athletics /terminology, safety, warm-up, compensation, characteristics and technique of chosen athletic disciplines/. 1. Introductory lesson - aim, content, requirements, organization of the course Run - technique, alphabet, straights 2. Introductory testing (Cooper, 100 m, shot put, throw) 3. Shot put - alphabet, throw off from different positions Games for development of speed and take off abilities 4. Sprint - crouch start, training of start reaction Shot put - side technique - technique 5. Training of speed abilities Shot put - side technique - final form 6. Check of 100 m, shot put Throw - throw off exercises - games, competitions 7. General take off exercises Throw - 5 steps rhythm 8. Preparation take off exercises for long jump + training of starting Throw - final form 9. Check - 100 m, shot put, throw, long distance run Long distance run - fartlek run 10. Long distance run - fartlek run or high jump (according to weather) 11. Long jump - take off and flying phases, jumps from shortened starting Development of speed abilities 12. Long jump - final form 13. Test

to apply basic knowledge of biology at the entrance exam level
to have basic knowledge of athletic disciplines

to have motor abilities and skills from athletics at the entrance exam level for PE majors
to use basic techniques of selected athletic disciplines
to complete practical education including credit requirements with regard to his/her physical and health prerequisites
