Course content
Theory: dance in life of people, its historical development, methodology of practice, graphic record Practice: - Czech folk dances - methodical practice of individual dance steps and combinations (dance walk and run, roll in step, skipping step, changing step, gallop, polka, four-stomp, chopped step, three-stomp, waltz, astride step, "confusing" dances) - country dances - methodical practice of individual dance steps and chosen dances - methodical presentations of students

  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 10 hours per semester

Knowledge
- to master movement expression of basic music elements - to master rhythmic-movement preparation from the subject KTV/GYM1 - to have aesthetic and musical sense
learning outcomes
Students: - distinguish, perform and describe basic dance steps from Czech folk and country dances - teach other students individually created dance combination (folk, country or ballroom dancing) in appropriate didactic manner, they also describe it in written and graphic form - analyze and evaluate methodical presentations of their colleagues
