Course content
Theory: 1. Objectives and tasks of the swimming. Instruction on Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Rules in Teaching 2. Biomechanical and physical laws of swimming. 3. The origin, development and techniques of swimming styles 4. The rules of swimming and swimming sports. 5. Sports and used swimming. 6. Synchronized swimming, water polo, diving. 7. Physiological aspects of swimming performance. 8. Structure of the swimming performance and development of motor skills. 9. Competitive swimming. 10. Swimming and swimming sports on the modern Olympic games. 11. Didactics and methodology of swimming. Practice: Practical presentations - teaching swimming at secondary school, leadership of swimming team in SPV SK Radbůza

Lecture supplemented with a discussion, Lecture with a video analysis, One-to-One tutorial, Skills demonstration, Individual study, Students' self-study, Practicum
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 30 hours per semester
