Course content
Didactics of gymnastics: 1. Introduction to the subject Didactics of gymnastics, Instruction on Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Rules in Teaching 2. Specialized gymnastic preparation in the school PE, 3. Didactic presentations - methodical procedure of skill practice, spotting and and rescue spotting in practice of acrobatic elements, 4. Didactic presentations - methodical procedure of skill practice, spotting and and rescue spotting in practice of elements at equipment (vault), 5. Didactic presentations - methodical procedure of skill practice, spotting and and rescue spotting in practice of elements at equipment (balance beam), 6. Didactic presentations - methodical procedure of skill practice, spotting and and rescue spotting in practice of elements at equipment (horizontal bar), 7. Didactic presentations - methodical procedure of skill practice, spotting and and rescue spotting in practice of elements at equipment (parallel and uneven bars), 8. Didactic presentations - methodical procedure of skill practice, spotting and and rescue spotting in practice of jumps at equipment (trampoline), 9. Didactic presentations - methodical procedure of skill practice, spotting and and rescue spotting in practice of elements at equipment (still rings), 10. Preparatory and supplementary exercises in gymnastics, 11. Didactic-organizational forms in gymnastics, 12. Didactic leadership styles in gymnastics. Didactics of fighting techniques (combat sports): 1. Introduction, Nature of Combat Games (Sports), Safety in Combat Training, Combat Warm-up 2-7. Falling Techniques in PE Classes (backward, forward, sideways, modifications of falls, preparatory combat exercises - falling games) 8-22. Combat Games in PE Classes (based on the length of contact, roles of participants, number of participants, positions, equipment)

to explain knowledge of terminology in elementary, rhythmic, artistic gymnastics and martial arts
Skills
to perform various gymnastic exercises, spotting, rescue spotting and selected exercises from various martial arts
to apply knowledge of methodology of elementary, artistic and rhythmic gymnastics

to evaluate the importance of gymnastic exercises, specialized gymnastic training and combative sports in other sports branches
to connect the theoretical knowledge from the field of gymnastics and martial arts and their practical use in the physical education process at elementary school

to apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills from the completed fields of gymnastics and combative sports
to apply the knowledge of methodology and didactics of practice of gymnastic exercise elements, spotting and rescue spotting in creation of preparation for teaching units with gymnastic content and teaching units with content of combative sports
to verify the accuracy of the content, organization, teaching methods of cretaed preparation for teaching unit at the practical didactic presentation (leading of the lesson)
