Course content
Technique and methodology of basic skating and basics of ice hockey, figure and speed skating. Didactic-organizational forms in collective education of skating and ice hockey. History of skating, ice hockey, figure and speed skating. Professional terminology, methodology of practice and rules of individual sports disciplines.

Collaborative instruction, Multimedia supported teaching, Skills demonstration, Lecture with visual aids, Practicum
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 10 hours per semester
  • Attendance on a field trip (number of real hours - maximum 8h/day) - 44 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 10 hours per semester

to describe basic terms from area of skating and ice hockey.

to demonstrate an adequate level of motor abilities
to perform fundamental motor skills related to skating and ice hockey
learning outcomes
Knowledge
to explain the concepts and theoretical knowledge of the history of skating and skating sports, theory and methodology of basic skating and ice hockey, rules and systematics of ice hockey, basic knowledge from the field of figure skating and speed skating
Skills
to perform practical skills from the technique of individual elements of basic skating
to use movement skills in ice hockey (men, women only for information), the simplest elements of figure skating (women, men only for information) and speed skating on a short track
