Course content
Theory: dance in life of people, its historical development, methodology of practice, graphic record Practice: - Exercises for development of rhythmic feeling (clapping, stomping, rhythm games) - Czech folk dances - methodical practice of individual dance steps and combinations (dance walk and run, glide step, skipping step, changing step, gallop, polka, four-stomp, cutting shape step, three-stomp, waltz, mazurka) - country dances - methodical practice of individual dance steps and selected dances - methodical practical presentations of students

  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 10 hours per semester
  • Practical training (number of hours) - 26 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 8 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 10 hours per semester
