Course content
1. Introduction to teaching, lessons on safety, credit requirements. 2. Health principles of applied programs. 3. Health-oriented programs for different age groups of individuals 4. Fitness-oriented programs for different functional groups of individuals - elements of functional training (Flowin, TRX, circuit training). 5. Health-oriented programs - stretching and toning exercises (Pilates, Power yoga, Tai-chi) in an outdoor environment 6. Fitness-oriented programs - aerobic programs (Heat, Alpinning). 7. Health and functional starting points for strengthening with loads and on machines. 8. Compilation of exercise plans for different age and functional groups of individuals. 9. Health aspects of outdoor exercise. Examples of methodology (Nordic walking, Nordic running). 10. Diagnostics and aspects of the optimal position of segments during exercise. 11. Health aspects of strengthening exercises from the point of view of the position of the pelvis and spine. 12. Health aspects of strengthening exercises from the point of view of the position of the shoulders and the cervical spine. 13. Credit test, fulfillment of credit requirements.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 20 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 20 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester

to metodic diagnose the wrong position of body segments of a client
to set up basic parameters of fitness and health training for a specific client
to theoretically explain the basic problems of creating fitness and health programs for the general population and for individuals with certain health specifics

to diagnose the wrong position of body segments and optimize positioning of a client in basic exercise positions
to analyze entrance information and create an individually adjusted movement program according to established criteria
to practically explain and demonstrate on examples the exercise procedures for fitness and health programs for the general population and for individuals with certain health specifics
