Course content
Anatomical and neurophysiological principle of individually optimal posture. Assessing of the postural function level (static and dynamic components). Postural disorders and their prevention. Didactic principles of compiling the movement program for younger school age children. Breathing exercises. Primary prevention of selected civilization diseases. Practice and improvement of the two swimming styles, start jump and basic water rescue techniques. Organizational and legal securing of swimming lessons at elementary schools.

  • Practical training (number of hours) - 52 hours per semester

to apply knowledge of human biology in the range of the curriculum of secondary schools and theoretical subjects from the previous course of KTV / TV1

to master the practical skills acquired from previous physical education in primary and secondary schools and KTV / TV1, KTV / TV2

to explain neurophysiological patterns of movement control
to set-up the content of physical activity for the primary prevention of selected civilization diseases
to explain at least two swimming styles technically correctly and in accordance with the rules of swimming
to clarify the organizational and legal aspects of swimming lessons at elementary schools in the Czech Republic

to apply the evaluation of static and dynamic component of the postural function
to apply the neurophysiological patterns of movement control when compiling the spontaneous and controlled physical activity in elementary school environment
to apply relaxation, stretching, and strenghthening compensatory exercises in the school environment
to demonstrate at least two swimming styles technically correctly and in accordance with the rules of swimming
to apply the essentials of rescue of drowning person and help to tired swimmer
