Course content
Introduction to teaching, safety instructions, credit requirements. Creation of exercise plans for different age and functional groups of individuals, health bases of applied programs. Health related programs - stretching and toning exercises (Pilates, Power Yoga, Tai-chi). Health and functional bases for training and strengthening on machines. Exercises - health aspects of strengthening back and abdominal muscles. Exercises - health aspects of strengthening the muscles of the chest and shoulders. Exercises - health aspects of strengthening arm muscles, deep stabilizing system of the spine. Exercises - health aspects of strengthening pelvic muscles, the correct position of the pelvis. Exercises - health aspects of strengthening the muscles of the lower extremities. Credit test, fulfilling credit requirements.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 40 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 30 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 8 hours per semester
