Course content
File formats of spreadsheet data. Import and export of spreadsheet data. Forms and their creation with a direct link to spreadsheets and calculators. Options and ways of displaying, formatting, and conditional formatting of spreadsheet data. Sort, filter, and table data summaries. Addressing, counting operations, formulas, functions. Table data analysis. Graphs and representations of table data, Operations with text values, search operations, and work with value generation. PivotTables. Work with industry databases.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 34 hours per semester
prerequisite
Knowledge
explain basic concepts related to creating tables on a computer.
Skills
create and manipulate folders and files.
perform basic edits in the spreadsheet.

use digital technologies in the field of data management at least at the basic level according to the DigComp 2.1 framework.

Knowledge
explain the principles used to retrieve, view, organize, format, analyze, represent and store table data in one commercial and several freely available program tools.
Skills
to process data efficiently using program tools called spreadsheets.
to verify the principles of table data processing on practical examples, which will enable them to acquire the working methods leading to the effective use of that type of software in the field of study of the field of study or branch combination and subsequently in the teaching practice
use the supported modules and functions of the selected spreadsheet program to find the optimal solution to partial problems arising from the topic being discussed
