The aim of the SZZ is to test the students' ability to synthesize the knowledge of the subjects of the study programme. At the end of the bachelor's study, the student takes a state final examination in accordance with Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on Higher Education, which verifies knowledge and skills from the thematic areas determined by the subjects of the profiling basis of the field of study and their syllabus (introduction to computer science, algoritms and programming, multimedia, programming, computer technology, computer networks, peripheral devices, databases and database systems, web technologies, e-learning, the impact of computer technology on the life of society). The oral examination in the selected topic area also includes the presentation of a portfolio of the student's creative work related to the topic. The digital portfolio is built continuously from the 1st year of study. In the final state examination, the student demonstrates in the digital portfolio his/her ability to work and develop his/her knowledge and skills continuously in the future profession. The defence of the bachelor's thesis is a separate part of the final examination. After successful completion of both parts, the graduate has passed the SZZ.
