Course content
1. Document template and styles related to the use of mass mailing options for biologists. 2. Non-text and automatic elements in text documents for biologists (diagrams, images, links, etc.). 3. Collaboration of several biologists in the creation of a text document. 4. Work in the cloud. 5. Completion of a text document with a pre-press check for biologists (typographic principles, spelling, principles for editing documents). 6. Analysis of tabular data, addressing, numerical operations, formulas, functions for biologists. 7. Search operations and work with text values in tables for biologists, sorting, filtering and summaries of tabular data for biologists. 8. Representation of tabular data and graphs for biologists. 9. Forms, their creation and use for questionnaire surveys. 10. Use of templates in presentations for biologists. Work with internal and external objects in presentations for biologists. 11. Presentation skills and principles of good presentation. 12. Preparation of the poster. Preparation of professional and scientific text (bachelor's, diploma theses, professional text). 13. Information sources and work with them, citation standards.

explain the principles used in acquiring, viewing, organizing, formatting, analysis, representation and storing tabular data in one of several commercial and freely available software tools.
know the principles of editing a text document and its formatting.
know the principles of effective presentation and its presentation (presentation skills).

to process the data efficiently using software tools known as spreadsheets.
check processing principles tabular data on practical examples, thanks to which you will learn workflows leading to effective use of this type of software in the study of the teaching field or a combination of sectoral and subsequently in teaching practice.
use supported modules and functions chosen spreadsheet program for data processing for finding optimal solutions to specific problems arising from the discussed topic.
format the document according to the specified requirements, including working with non-textual elements.
