Course content
1. History and importance of graphic and motion design. Form and content. 2. Vector and graphic editors, animation software. 3. Functions and development of fonts, grouping fonts into word units, font types, font selection or combination. Fonts, font types, font selection or combination 4. Sorting fonts into word units. Fonts in books, advertising and promotion 5. Experimental typography. 6. Type in books, advertising and promotion. Hierarchy of text, image. 7. Dynamic and static composition, colour in graphic design. 8. Graphic stylization - ornament, pictogram, typographic exercises - monogram, typographic composition, uniform visual style - logotype, business card, flyer, invitation, etc.). 9. Previsualization of projects based on dynamic compositions. 10. Animated typography and text animation. 11. Animation of shapes and graphics. Visual effects and plug-ins. 12. Creation of animated logo, banner and movie title. 13. Graphic design and motion design in the practice of graphic studios and video studios.

to explain advanced graphics software (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop);
Skills
to use the form in accordance with the content and purpose - according to the content and purpose of the print, to choose dynamically or statically the composition, to choose the appropriate types of fonts and to combine them appropriately;
use expressive means of motion design (motion effects, lighting effects, dynamic composition, animation and audiovisual);
to stylize the selected motif originally, to be unambiguous, visually distinct and easily remembered;
to choose rationally and functionally a balanced, harmonic or dramatic, expressive color solution;
to develop graphical solutions in sketch variants, respond appropriately and inventively to proofreading suggestions and can, in accordance with the requirements set forth, make suggestions in graphically pure and formally precise definitions;
to apply the tasks of applied graphics and motion design even in their pedagogical practice.
