Course content
The course is conceived as regular lessons with successive tasks based on the theoretical context 1. Transformation of traditional art techniques, its causes and consequences 2. Exploration and innovation of art techniques in the art of the 20th and 21st century in Czech and foreign environments 3. Theoretical approaches to creativity and their transformation 4. Creativity and its manifestations in art and art education; Methods of the development of creativity not only in art education 5. Questions of originality, authorship and authenticity of artistic and pedagogical work; Unique art expression as condition and aim of art education 6. Principles of coincidence applied in artistic creation 7. Experiment, play and coincidence and their role in the creative process 8. Improvisation in teaching - work with coincidence and its importance in art education 9. Way to the concept and developing artistic intentions 10. Creative use of multimedia with a focus on conceptual art 11. Methods of realisation of an art task; Exploring the possibilities and the limits of art language on the background of the cross section and the combination of art disciplines 12. Reflection of realized artistic tasks in the context of art and education 13. Presentation of solutions to creative tasks; Installing artwork in relation to selected concepts

Knowledge
to identify specific principles of techniques and media in relation to their own idea;
to clarify the basic facts from the history of avant-garde and modern art;
to list some personalities of contemporary art and to clarify their concepts;
to describe the possibilities of transformation of the spatial creation into pedagogical creation.
Skills
to find their own, distinctive form of art expression;
to cultivate knowledge of contemporary art with regard to the history and genesis of art;
to conceptualize their own approach and to utilise the visual language in relation to specific topic;
to use multimaterial or multimedia access in their own authorial forms.

to clarify some theoretical approaches to the concept of creativity in the context of fine arts and art education;

to flexibly respond to the "creative situation" in the creation process;
to apply the principles of coincidence, play and experiment in art creation;
to work creativly with multimedia focusing on the concept conceptual art;
to reflect their own art work in the context of education;
to present their own art work in accordance with the chosen concepts.
