Course content
1. The function of art in public space in history and today; 2. Art in public space in relation to civil society; 3. Contemporary approaches to art in public space - artists, exhibitions, festivals; 4. Spatial relations and materials; 5. Sculpture in public space; 6. Modelling - visual and haptic approach to the world; 7. Exploring the properties of materials for spatial creation - traditional and non-traditional approaches; 8. Happening as enlivenment of place; 9. The possibilities of land art; 10. Environmental and socially engaged art; 11. Playgrounds and their specifics; 12. Design and visualization of art in public space; 13. Dialogue as a key moment of creation - the importance of discussing art in public space.

to clarify some facts from history and present of sculpture;
to describe the perception of physical space.

to use knowledge of the history and present of spatial creation for the needs of transformation into pedagogical practice;

to clarify concepts and facts from the field of spatial art with a focus on the art of the 20th and 21st centuries;
to clarify the functions of art in public space;
to explain technical rules of shape-building;
popsat the forms of spatial formation and their principles (free statue, relief);
to describe the possibilities of transforming the area of spatial creation into pedagogical creation.
Skills
to use expressive means of modeling and shaping;
to map the character of a particular site and formulate your own creative plan for its improvement;
to create a proposal for an art in public space project;
to find its own, unique form of expression in the field of spatial creation;
to use multimaterial or multimedia approach in spatial formation.
