1. Introduction to experimental drawing and material explorations 2. The role of art exploration in the art of the present and the past 3. Forms of experimental drawing in the art of the 20th and 21st century 4. Material explorations in the art of the 20th and 21st century 5. Material properties and their application in the creative process 6. Limits of traditional techniques and procedures in fine arts 7. Specifics of non-traditional artistic means 8. Drawing and material experiments on the way to authentic artistic expression 9. Concept of experimental drawing and preparation of conditions for material explorations 10. Methods of realization of experimental drawing 11. Material explorations and forms of realization of art experiments 12. Reflections of drawing and material experiments 13. Methods of presentation of results of experimental drawing and material explorations

to explain the difference between traditional and non-traditional means of expression in visual arts;
to clarify some artistic concepts in history of art or in contemporary art with the aid of concrete examples of artworks;
to characterize and distinguish various properties of different materials.
