Course content
1. Introduction to the subject - recapitulation of modeling procedures in ceramics 2. - 5. Reproduce the live portrait as a bust and as a relief into sculpture clay, and a compositional exercise in the form of a still life modeling with a shift towards ceramic design 6. - 9. Creation and technology of molds (plaster, wax ...), casting into molds with traditional and non-traditional materials in order to achieve the intense aesthetic effect of the color solution of the semi-finished product 10. Finishing and patinating an artifact 11. - 13. Realizing your own ceramic object on a given or chosen topic in a scale of 1: 1

Knowledge
to reproduce the names and definitions of the basic building elements of the visual language in sculpture and spatial creation, to bring together basic knowledge of supporting arts disciplines, compare the results achieved on the given field of creation (both own and others),

make drawing and basic model sketch on a given topic, on the basis of criteria, select appropriate proposals, to be able to work with spacial and material imagination,

about the techniques of modelation of natural materials and their stylization leading to design of particular product, about technical and technological procedures of creating and casting it to form and making patina on outcome, on how to adjust and expose the work, about the historical and contemporary styling canons of sculpture and its translations into other media,
Skills
to reproduce a portrait in sculptural clay, as a bust and a relief, and composition tasks in a form of a still-life with a shift to ceramic design, to create a sculptural mould (from plaster, wax..), cast traditional or non-traditional sculptural materials into the mould, to solve semi-finished product in color, to use and distinguish between various approaches to sculpture, realize basic sculptural tasks using various technologies, to realize sculpture project based on own design in scale 1:1,
