Course content
Students of master's program can enroll in this course as in so-called second studio. Weeks 1 - 13 Assigning semester project topics, presentation of problems. Study of the issue, a visiting teacher's lecture. Continuous creation, corrections, consultations and implementation of seminar sub-tasks. Continuous creation, corrections, consultations and implementation of semester project. Consultation about sketches. Implementation of models, scenarios, computer simulations with photographs. Individual consultations. Consultation and collective workshop. Guest lecturer. Consultation of options and choice of implemented prototypes with the teacher and invited guests. Study trips, visits to exhibitions, debates. Finalization of semester project, presentation and submission, installation, dialogue. Finalization and installation, students' teamwork. Presentations in the form of CD and DVD portfolio.

Knowledge
to recall the basic techniques of traditional art disciplines, to describe several untraditional methods and materials usable for creative expression, to reproduce the names and definitions of the basic building elements of the visual language with accent on space and concept to bring together basic knowledge of supporting arts disciplines, mostly object and context design to compare the results achieved on the given field of creation (both own and foreign), to describe own comparison to apply knowledge about basic painters and sculptors morphology when designing the assigned task
Skills
to make drawing and painting sketch of own compositional proposals on a given topic, to work with several possible alternations in their possible conceptual conceptions, to make a research for a given topic, to explain basic problematics of given topic and present it to the professional society to select appropriate proposals on the basis of criteria, and work with their alterations and contexts to realize the final artifact (spatial installation, painting, statue, design) to install your work into a exposure based on character of expositure space

about project planning (conceptual analysis of the given topic, sketching, modeling, bozzetta) including research and analysis of given topic and space, about production techniques and technologies, of basic materials usable for creative expression in surface and space, about options of using those methods and materials in untraditional way, on how to adjust and expose the work, about historical and contemporary style canons used in different genres of art and architecture and their translations into other cultural and social contexts about common semantic meanings of signs and their options to use with work with concepts about common vocabulary of object and concept design, about basic terminology of creating a sculture, object and instalation, about overlap of those disciplines into other even non-visual media, about basic terminology of cencept art and authors working with them and formed them

to plan and realizes a spacial project of artwork with common expressive means on level of both realization and concept, to divide own work into several steps and design their variations, to take into account in the production of the techniques and technology used, to be able to use common scale of artistic techniques for different purposes, to independently look for suitable art solutions, compare different solutions and chooses between different alterations, designates, characterizes and distinguishes between the relationship between the object, design, sculpture and installation, Besides practical realizations, to solve tasks in a conceptual way, thus classifying his or her own verbal skills, to reflect his work in historical and contemporary contexts, is aware of options of those contexts for own creative work, to reflect its work in the context of professional, technical and technological processes, with erudition, to presents his work to the professional community to be able to accept and assert in a way the evaluation and critical response, is able of own basic reflection of own work
