Course content
- setting themes for final TP (term project) - orientation and possibilities - studying the problematic; continuous lectures given by the teacher - continuous development, correction and consultation of partial atelier works - continuous corrections, consultation and development of the term project (TP) - object - the question of setting - setting as a part of architectonic solution - setting-based projects in public space and architecture - video-performance - video-installation - photographic project - leading the student to designing their own topic; fortifying their decision-making skills - collaboration within a team - a stay in nature; field trip (craft oriented work experience) - leading the students to the readiness of judgment, criticism, as well as critical self-evaluation of their own work - conceiving the form chosen as the elaborated unit from the mechanical, technical and content point of view - technically well implemented elaboration with the ambition of meaningful and imaginative project solution, such as interactive, mechanical or a computer system in the frame of projects - portfolio Overview of a topic procedure during the completion of a partial part of the project: - Authorizing DVD program in the After Effect space - lecture, demonstrating the possibility of use - lecture on picture composition and colour in digital as well as film implementation - setting a topic, collective seminar, problem analysis - a guest lecture on a given topic - consultation of sketches, drawings or digital implementations of the aim - discussion over models, semi-finished video presentations or short films - compulsory seminars - cooperation with professionals from the fields of science and technology - visiting running exhibitions - seminar work on a given theme - consulting the choice of a media to finish the realization - project realization, work installation - exhibition - public presentation, defense, submission of the seminar work; individual opinion and reflection on the work done; thematic lectures in written and digital mode based on a personal view and insight

to recall knowledge about a wider range of common expressive and visual tools of new media, about their possible reciprocal compositional relationships and their usage for aplicated medial illustration, to recall and apply knowledge about technical and technological procedures of supporting disciplines, about a wide array of technological and technical procedures for scanning, post-production and projection, to interpret own knowlidge about historical and contemporary style canons and and options of interactive and motion design, their possible conections and boundaries, to critically assess his/her own work in a discipline context, to plan a project in the production team dealing with complex artistic projects, about ways to justify and defend your own design activity in relation to other members of the production team, to recall knowldge about the expert structure of the subject and the construction of the storytelling line in the case of narrative genres or the compositional schemes of the static,
Skills
to apply basic knowledge about working procedures in softwares suitble for creation in new media discipline (ADOBE, Photoshop, ADOBE Premiera; completion of 3D MAYA), to use digital camera, digital video camera through camera HDV format, to plan a complex project of medial illustration and to suggest its different forms, individually and as a manager of a team of various staff professions during realization of interactive projects of different forms, to apply a wide array of ways of construction of action, including non-traditional practices, to reflect its work in the context of professional, technical and technological processes, to submit his proposal and selection to the contracting authority and justify it in the respect to the task and his/her requirements, to critically assess his/her own work in the field context and style framework, manage eventual post-production of the project and ensure full project presentation and promotion, with erudition, to present his work to the professional community, to be able to accept and assert in a way the evaluation and critical response, to explain and defend his/her choice from other members of the production team, to be able to accept and assert in a way the evaluation and critical response

Knowledge
about possibilities of inspiration and creation initiated by own innovative intention and a generally assigned task in a form of using media in a non-traditional way of artistic representation - setting as a part or a final aspect of architectonic designs about planning a complex and technically difficult project of spacial or multimedial character, about planing and managing work and specialized procedures, about the contemporary style canons used in the new media discipline and their translations, about the possibilities and limits of involvement in interdisciplinary cooperation on multimedial and spacial projects in more difficult complexes, about a wide array of technological and technical procedures for scanning, post-production and projection, and their creative crossing, about their possible reciprocal relationships and their usage in conventional and experimental way, of ways to compare the demands on technical possibilities and possible ways of implementation craft-wise and technique-wise

to individually plan and realise more complex project focused on using media in a non-traditional way of artistic representation - setting as a part or a final aspect of architectonic designs, including drawing designs of higher noticeable value for elaborating considering specifics based on the nature of the graphic technique and its overlap to other multimedial, interactive and illustratition forms and their combination, to critically assess his/her own work in the field context and style framework, to work with several varied alternatives and variations, to choose most suitable design based on specific requirements of each project, proposes and analyzes the specific creative themes of the projects and modifies them according to wider cultural circumstances, to be able to apply their creative potential and design valuable implementations of a spacial object in an open space and architecture, to select the most suitable variant of the final graphic project and create complex design documentation, choose the appropriate technology for producing the final product, to manage the post-production of the project and to secure the full presentation and promotion of the project, to analyze practical applications, lead a discussion over the task analysis, to make effort to find various solutions to given problem, to maintain originality of own design and to own advancement aiming to distinctie artistic and handicraft expression, to be able to accept and assert in a way the evaluation and critical response, to reflect own work in the context of professional, technical and technological processes, to reflect his work in historical and contemporary contexts and to be aware of potencial of those contexts for own original expression and inspirational sources which work with this reality,
