Course content
Weeks 1 - 13 Introduction to the course of the semester. Theoretical and illustrative tenets. Continuous production, mandatory consultations and submission of all seminar sub-tasks assigned. Modeling according to natural materials. Study of the head (bust, relief). Plaster cast and mold. Spatial exercises. Creative modeling.

to reproduce the names and definitions of the basic building elements of the visual language in sculpture and spatial creation, to bring together basic knowledge of supporting arts disciplines, compare the results achieved on the given field of creation (both own and others),

make drawing and basic model sketch on a given topic, on the basis of criteria, select appropriate proposals, to be able to work with spacial and material imagination,

Knowledge
about the techniques of modelation ond its usage in different disciplines, on how to adjust and expose the work, about the historical and contemporary styling canons of sculpture and its translations into other media, about technical and technological procedures of creating and casting it to form and making patina on outcome,
Skills
to reproduce a real or imaginary shape in sculptural clay, to create a sculptural mould (from plaster, wax..), cast traditional or non-traditional sculptural materials into the mould, to use and distinguish between various approaches to sculpture, realize basic sculptural tasks using various technologies, to realize sculpture project based on own design in scale 1:1,
