Course content
1. Classification of constitutional systems - parliamentary, presidential, directorium, neo-presidential 2. Responsibility of the highest authorities of states and possible ways of its solution. 3. Federation in comparative approach of constitutional systems and their models 4. Constitutional aspects of decolonization and the emergence of new states. 5. Constitutional system of USA 6. Constitutional system of UK 7. Constitutional system of France 8. Constitutional system of Switzerland 9. Constitutional system of Israel 10. Constitutional system of Bosna and Herzegovina 11. Constitutional system of South Africa 12. Constitutional system of Canada 13.The constitutional system of Brazil 14. Judicial review of constitutionality in the USA, incomplete judicial review The course is thougt in English language.

to qualify role of constitution in democracies to define types and forms of constitutions, elementary constitutional principles in comparative perspective to differentiate forms of government in democracies to become acquainted with principles of vertical separation of powers, types of federations and unitary state to define relations between the supreme state bodies in democracies, the internal organization of Parliaments and legislative procedures to analyze constitutional and political system of political parties in plural democracies, electorate system and organization of elections in democracies

to qualify role of basic and human rights, of the constitution and position of human being and citizen in the state to define general judiciary, administrative and constitutional justice, their types and competences to become acquainted with relations between constitution and international law in democracies and constitutional aspect of supranational integration processes to analyze constitutional and political systems of selectedn states
