Course content
1. Methods of comparative constitutional law. 2. Classification of constitutional systems - parliamentary, presidential, directorium, neo-presidential, government of assembly. 3. Constitutions and legislation of EU. 4. Constitutional system of UK. 5. Constitutional system of USA 6. Constitutional system of Germany 7. Constitutional system of Austria 8. Constitutional system of France and Switzerland. 9. Constitutional system of Israel and Italy. 10. Constitutional legislation on Human rights in leading democratic states. 11. Federation in comparative approach of constitutional systems and their models. 12. Systems of political parties and electoral systems in USA, UK, Israel, France, Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland. 13. Judiciary and Constitutional judicial review

Knowledge
to define the role of constitution in the developed democracies to define types of constitutions, basic constitutional principles in comparative perspective to distinguish different forms of government in democracies to become acquainted with principles of the vertical distribution of powers, types of federations and the unitary state to define the relations between supreme state bodies, an internal organization of parliaments and legislative procedure. to analyze constitutional and political system, a system of political parties in plural democracies, electoral systems and organization of elections. to define the role of basic and civil rights, the Constitution and position of man and citizen.
Skills
to define general judiciary, administrative judiciary, constitutional justice, their competences. to become acquainted with the relationship between constitution and international law in democracies, aspects of supranational integrations.
