Course content
More difficult questions of word-formation. Lexical problems of RKZ. Problems of translation. Contemporary spoken Czech and stratification in the national language. Everyday speech, "brněnská plotna". Standards and sub-standards in contemporary Czech. A language in contemporary advertisement. Phraseology and phrases. Lexical language means in contemporary journalism. Adapted and loan words in contemporary Czech, especially words of English origin.
