This course is intended for students who have successfully completed Basics of Chinese Language 3. It consolidates and advances students? proficiency in Chinese by focusing on more sophisticated language structures, expanded vocabulary, and greater fluency in communication. Students will develop the ability to discuss a wider variety of topics, comprehend longer spoken and written texts, and express ideas with increased accuracy and confidence. The course further enhances reading and writing skills through the study of additional characters and authentic materials, while deepening students? understanding of Chinese culture and contemporary society.
