Students will be introduced to the nature of interpersonal communication with individuals with different types of disabilities in everyday situations. The aim is for students to understand the importance of effective interpersonal communication with people with disabilities. Additionally, students will be trained to develop skills in interpersonal communication with individuals with disabilities and to engage in effective communication with their families, ensuring meaningful and inclusive interactions. The student applies effective interpersonal communication with individuals with disabilities, identifying communication barriers along the way. They integrate effective communication techniques into their work with people with disabilities and apply these skills when communicating with the families of individuals with disabilities, ensuring inclusive and supportive interactions in both professional and personal contexts.
