Week 1 Introductory class. Presentation of the course, familiarization with the curriculum and requirements for completing the course. Work and employment, practice and internships - labor law relations. Week 2 Job search, supply and demand. Doing business in the Czech Republic. Week 3 Structured CV, upper and lower case writing. Week 4 Curriculum vitae - time expressions, adverbs and prepositions. Week 5 Cover letter. Week 6 Job interview, rules of formal communication. Week 7 Midterm test. Week 8 Expression of agreement / disagreement, assertive communication. Week 9 Verbal and non-verbal communication. Week 10 Starting a job, health insurance system, contracts. Week 11 Formal phone call. Week 12 Course revision. Final test. Week 13 Test correction. Evaluation.
