Course content
- Setting up contacts in writing and face to face - A business letter, electronic correspondence - A business trip a description, possible connections - Banks, opening an account - Planning a business appointment, a business appointment date confirmation, telephoning - Professional requirements for a job candidate, a job interview - Job offers, a letter of motivation, a CV - Labour-law relations on a place of work, personal traits and professional qualities - Types of wages, contracts, social policy - A working day, discussions on a place of work - Types of absence from work, personnel planning Further information for distant study programme students can be found on the Courseware.

identify main and subordinate clauses (e.g. the conjunctions und, aber, oder, darum, trotzdem, weil, dass, wenn, als, ob, obwohl, seitdem, so, dass)
