Course content
Historical development of board games. Rules of basic board games - checkers, chess, mills, etc. Strategy games, puzzles, educational games, but also games of an entertaining nature. Card games. Board games are a classic element of entertainment that should not be missing in any company. Modern board games will convince you that the game is always a guarantee of quality time spent full of healthy competition, laughter and excitement. Each game can be a great and original experience. The sophistication of modern board games will captivate you with its imagination and you will always be happy to return to the game.

Basic knowledge of the rules of board games, logical thinking and independence.
learning outcomes
Students completing the course have a general overview of board games, their history and rules. They are able to introduce and to explain the rules of the board games and they are able to organize a competition or simple tournament in the board games.
