Course content
|
During the semester, instruction focuses on refining the technique of breaststroke, backstroke, and front crawl. Additionally, the course aims to deepen proficiency in these strokes with an emphasis on building endurance. For the most technically skilled students, training in the butterfly stroke is introduced. Across all year levels, students practice water rescue techniques, and water polo is included as a supplementary activity.

After 2 semesters of this course students are able to master the basic techniques of breast stroke, backstroke and crawl-stroke. In the next years of studies students get familiar with butterfly stroke as well. Students also learn basic grips and grasps of the rescue of drowning persons. |
