Logical-philosophical grammar: confusions and analogies (L. Wittgenstein and F. Waismann). Conveying of meaning: figurativeness of language and tropes (Aristoteles, M. Black, M. C. Beardsley and N. Goodman). Theories of metaphor: causal (D. Davidson), figurative simile (R. Fogelin), cognitive (G. Lakoff and M. Johnson), pragmatic (P.H. Grice and J. Searle). Theories of vagueness: sorites paradoxes, borderline cases and logic, open texture of concepts (R. Sorensen, T. Williamson, and F. Waismann). Debate on language-reality relation in the post-analytic philosophy: realism, relativism and constructivism (W.V.O. Quine, D. Davidson, W. Sellars, N. Goodman, R. Rorty and H. Putnam).
