Key learning outcomes The graduates gain a profound knowledge of theoretical and practical problems of communication. They are able to orientate themselves well and function creatively in information and communication structures of the present world. They are capable of unfolding and analysing the epistemological, logical, linguistic, semiotic, psychological aspects and problems of communication. The graduates are able to grasp the essence of the communication situation, analyse the premises on which it is based; they can suggest suitable solutions to problems in communication. Profound theoretical education of an interdisciplinary nature forms very good groundwork for the critical analysis of interpersonal, intercultural, scientific and computer communication. The graduates are able to use this knowledge and skill for solving practical issues of social, administrative and economic life, to suggest unconventional solutions to problems. Based on critical and analytical work they are able to make independent decisions and to solve concrete problems of communication, including media communication. The graduates know how to present the results of both individual and team solutions to practical and theoretical problems in front of either professionals or lay public; they are able to solve set problems as a team using corresponding research methods.

Profile of the programme The program is conceived as academic and it constitutes of blocks of subjects from an area of philosophy, semiotics, linguistics, psychology, logics, cognitive sciences, information technologies. It includes blocks of subjects focused on a practical use of theoretical knowledge in practicing of medial expertizes, information services, public relations, administration, medical services, business and humanitarian activities and shadow speaking in TV and radio broadcast. The program includes practices and fellowships of students at potential employers.
