1. The basic concepts of the sociology of life-course 2. Age and age norms. 3. Sociology of childhood. 4. Sociological theories of socialization. 5. Gender and life-course. 6. The entry to labor market and retirement. The harmonization of family and work life. 7. Matherhood, fatherhood, grandparenthood and childlessness. 8. The entry to partnership and marriage. 9. The sociological aspects of aging. 10. Sociological perspectives to birt and death.

Students are able to use basic sociological terminology related to the sociology of life-course. They distinguish among various theorethical and methodological approaches to the study of life-course. They propose their own research project based on their knowledge of the study of life biography. |
