Course content
1-2. beginning of historical sociology 3-4. modern development of historical sociology 5-6. theory of modernization 7-8. first and second modernity 9-10. process of civilization 11-12. comparative and historical method in social sciences

- to analyze the actual discussions about the origin and development of human culture and its key transformations from the sociological point of view - as the future teachers to orientate the students in the problems of historical sociology - correctly judge and interpret the existing theories of historical development - to memorize the basic terminology of historical sociology
to orientate the himsef in the problems of historical sociology
to critically evaluate and compare the existing theories of historical development
to memorize the sociological terminology in English
