Course content
(1) basic terms, definitions, approaches (2) idea of a society, idea of a nature (3) society - economy - environment (4) sociology and environmentalism (5) cultural factor in the relation between societies and their environment (6) global capitalism and transnational corporations (7) democracy, civil society, ecology (8) society - individuality - responsibility (9) research projects in environmental sociology

  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 5 hours per semester
